After five years of working at the Icehotel during their construction period in late November and December, this years touchdown in Jukkasjärvi was the shorter kind. A touristlike visit for a few days seemed like a few hours, just hardly enough time to say hello to the people that makes the Icehotel come to life. But even though time was limited it was wonderful to meet my friends, artists and workers, bighearted greeting each other like old family members coming together after being separated for a long while.
